In the journey of life, if you want to travel without fear, you must have the ticket of a good conscience.' ![]() ![]() Multiple sclerosis (MS) afflicts the central nervous system, causing unpredictable and varying symptoms that differ from person to person. About 1 in 700 people in the United States is affected by this disease. Multiple sclerosis usually strikes between the ages of 20 and 50, and affects two to three times more women than men. Although there is currently no cure for MS, there are treatments that can slow the progression of the disease and enhance the quality of life for people who have this condition.
I was diagnosed with very mild RRMS Jan. 1995 after one MRI to see why there was burning sensations in my neck. The Avonex injections at $1000 a month for 4 years I was on damaged my heart and caused my 1996 mild MS to rapidly escalate to the 2001 progressive MS I live with today. I am totally disabled now- I take NO medication specifically for multiple sclerosis now. In 2006 I was hospitalized for 3 weeks after going completely NUMB from the waist down in a multiple sclerosis flare up. I am legally blind, have foot-drop and am unable to walk unassisted more than 3 car lenghts unassisted. I fall easily and have broken all my toes and most ribs in the last 5 years. I choke easily and have to watch what I eat and drink. I get confused in my thought and speech patterns often. In other words, 'it does not compute...' I know more people with M.S. than ANY other disease.

There have been over 3 dozen deaths of babies and persons under age 22 since 1980 in my tiny community with a population of under 3,000. I moved here June 1982. All deaths have been tragic...but none to me more than that of Evan Bailey: This Citizen of Laurel Lake Commercial Township remembers our murdered child. November 17,1980 little 9 year old Evan Bailey (black) was abducted from Vineland, NJ (currently the Forman Mills Parking lot). His abductor was a 20 year old drifter whom had already murdered 3 minors within the past year. Malcolm Joseph Robbins Jr. (white) from Rockland, Maine was one of 11 children-he himself had been brutally abused, neglected and tormented since the day he was born. Robbins had been sexually molested by 2 former husbands of his mother. By age 11 Robbins had already been sent to reform school for sexually molesting younger boys. By age 16,Robbins traveled across country with his 40 year old gay lover. Robbins had killed a 7 year old male Steven Little on Christmas Day 1979 in Texas, 17 year old male Brian Lepko 1-29-80 in West Virginia, a 6 year old male Christopher Finney 6-15-80 in California before taking 9 year old Evan Bailey. Evan was brought to Laurel Lake Commercial Twp. Cumberland Co. N.J. to a empty mobile home on Battle Lane where he was repeatedly VICIOUSLY raped. Evan tried to run but was finally caught & grabbed by Robbins whom slit Evan’s throat. Then Robbins proceeded to beat Evan and stab him numerous times. Amazingly,
Evan was still barely alive when Robbins took his tiny body and dumped him on Millville side of Laurel Lake where Evan breathed
his last breath. (A very dear friend whom lived here during that time sent me this info recently: " He (
Robbins) was renting the double-wide on Battle Lane & Poplar with his bi-sexual lover. A juvenile last named
Clifford also lived there with the two--with his mothers permission!") Malcolm Joseph Robbins Jr. has been sitting on the California death row since his sentence there on 5-13-83. Thank you California for giving Robbins a proper sentence! I will always remember the violent death of little Evan Bailey whom fought valiantly for his life against all odds here in Laurel Lake. Evan Bailey will forever be my community little In memory of this angel child: "I shall take this child and place him among the stars, IN THE SUPREME COURT OF CALIFORNIA

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I challenge any group of law students to review my 3rd cousin's case. My paternal grandmother
was his first cousin. Clyde Hysler was executed in 1942 (he killed no one ever-never charged with actual hands on murder when
arrested at age 18 yet he was sent to his death)via the Florida electric chair. I and many believe wrongfully; this is a most
tragic case.
![]() ![]() Remember: ![]() ![]() ![]() "History of Marijuana as Medicine covers from 2737 B.C. to
Present: Over 4,700 years! Deaths from Marijuana v. 17 FDA-Approved Drugs (January 1, 1997 to June 30, 2005)
Total U.S. Deaths Reported from 1/1/97 - 6/30/05:
Doctor prescribed medications causing death: 11,695
Marijuana: as primary cause of death: possibly 2 " Legalize doctor prescribed medical marijuana now for
those dying, in great physical pain, legally blind and with various long term autoimmune diseases.
Would I as a law abiding middle aged female
take doctor prescribed medicinal marijuana for any future problems I will have due to my multiple sclerosis?
The same disease the federal government
declared me perminately disabled with in 2001 in just a few weeks after applying?
Would I legally use the same illegal
marijuana plant that's been used by native peoples around the world for thousands of years, instead of blindly
taking rapidly rushed through legal FDA approved drugs that are maiming and killing innocent people?
In a New York
minute! Every one that knows me knows the AVONEX weekly injections
at $1,000 a month for 4 years as the prescribed MS treatment damaged my heart causing many future MS prescribed medications
unavailable to me. My current drugs for M.S.? NADA-none-zip-zero...everyone that really cares about me knows I was at deaths
door in April 2006 due to legally doctor prescribed medication drug interactions. The great rehab facility after being discharged
from SJHS took me off every single med. used for my multiple sclerosis. I get pains in my feet and legs so bad from muscle
spasm I literally go to bed and cry as there is nothing to help me. I'm amazed at the adults my age in this area addicted
to legally prescribed drugs for every ache and pain- their doctors ought to be shot for creating these addicts- people fall
asleep that are addicted to those type prescriptions and never wake up.
"Whether or not the prevailing medical community accepts marijuana as having "accepted medical use" is of little or
no consequence as it does, in fact, work for some people who suffer from a plethora of medical afflictions. When I think
of some of the best times I have ever had in my life, I recognize that none of them were for my own good. Hauling sick people
from their beds or locking people away for long periods of time, or anytime, for smoking, eating or possessing small amounts
of cannabis in the privacy of one's own home, in the interest of public safety, is government at its worst. We have learned nothing from the 18th Amendment or the prohibition of alcohol in the '20s and '30s. Alcohol, a far worse substance in regard to its destructive effects on society, brought nothing but corruption to law enforcement and the legal system in general.
